ÂGÉE is a Milan-based dealer of vintage and antique one-of-a-kind fine jewelry, scouted and curated by LIL Milan. Every piece is selected personally, examined by hand, documented, and sold with its provenance. There is never a second copy.
Every jewel is selected personally by our founder, Veronica Varetta, from documented and reputable channels: auction houses, private estates and trusted dealers across Europe. Nothing enters the archive from anonymous sources — a piece without a past does not become an ÂGÉE piece.
Our gemmologist examines the stones, assessing each against the era the piece claims to belong to. Many stones arrive already documented by auction houses. Where useful, a certificate of authenticity can be issued on request.
The hallmark is a small stamp on the metal recording its purity — 750 for 18kt gold, 585 for 14kt, 925 for sterling silver — and often its origin and date. We read it under a loupe and report it in each listing.
Provenance is recorded for every piece: where it came from, what era it belongs to, what the hallmark confirms. Each jewel is also photographed in detail — including an X-ray image that documents its construction.
